03 / Aerial photography & video
Aerial work does two jobs: it makes a business look considerably more substantial than its competitors, and it gets a proper look at the parts of a building nobody can safely reach. I do both, on commercial kit, flown legally.
Get in touchWhat I shoot
Marketing imagery and condition imagery, from the same flight.
Property and venue exteriors
The establishing shot that shows the whole site, the grounds and where it sits — the thing a ground-level photograph physically cannot do.
Roof and site condition imagery
Close, high-resolution imagery of roofs, gutters, chimneys and hard-to-reach elevations, without scaffolding or a cherry picker.
Progress and event coverage
Repeat flights from matched positions to show a build or site changing over time, or a single visit to cover an event from above.
The kit
Commercial-grade aircraft, in plain English.
- DJI Matrice 300 RTK
- A commercial aircraft rather than a consumer camera drone. It carries a zoom and a wide camera on the same flight, which is what makes close, high-resolution imagery of a roof or an upper elevation possible without scaffolding.
- DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced
- Smaller, quieter and quick to deploy in tighter sites. It's the right tool for a single building or a constrained town-centre location where the larger aircraft is more than the job needs.
Legal and insured
Flown properly, and I'll show you the paperwork.
Aerial work is flown legally and insured, with a CAA-certified pilot on every flight. Public liability cover is in place for commercial flights and the certificate is available on request before I attend.
Every job starts with a pre-flight site assessment: airspace, people and property nearby, access, and whether the weather on the day actually allows it. If it doesn't, I reschedule rather than push it — which is the boring answer, and the correct one.
